The Jewel Box Salon is a proudly LGBTQIA+-friendly salon in downtown Spokane (827 W 1st Ave, Suite 101, in the Courtyard Office Center), founded by Julie Connolly in 2018 on a simple belief: everyone has a right to be here. A member of Strands for Trans, it's a team of independent contractors whose work spans haircutting and color, esthetics and brows, microblading, wedding hair and makeup, extensions, and curly-hair specialties — and there's even a tattoo studio in the suite upstairs.
