These terms govern your use of Spokane Hair Dressers (“the Service,” “we,” “us”), an independent online directory and profile platform for hairstylists and salons in the Spokane, Washington metro. By using the Service, you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use it.
What the Service is
We help people discover Spokane-area hairdressers and salons — organized by specialty, neighborhood, and price — and we let stylists and salon owners claim and manage their own profiles. We are independent: we are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or acting on behalf of the businesses listed. Listings are built from public information and from details that providers add to their own profiles.
Accounts & sign-in
You can sign in with Google, Facebook, or Apple. You're responsible for activity under your account and for keeping access to the email it uses, since profile ownership is tied to that verified email. Don't sign in as someone else or share your access in ways that let others impersonate you.
Claiming a profile
To claim a stylist or salon profile, you must be that person or be authorized to represent that business. We may ask for a photo or other verification, and we review claims by hand. We may approve, decline, or reverse a claim at our discretion — for example, if a claim appears inaccurate, fraudulent, or disputed. Claiming a profile doesn't transfer ownership of the underlying directory listing or any public facts within it.
Your content
“Your content” means anything you submit — profile details, services, photos, and reviews. You keep ownership of it. By submitting it, you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, display, and promote it on and for the Service. You represent that you have the rights to what you upload (for example, that you own or are licensed to use the photos and that they depict your own work), and that it isn't unlawful, infringing, or misleading. We may moderate, decline, or remove content, and we may remove a profile or account that violates these terms.
Reviews
Reviews must reflect genuine, first-hand experiences. Don't post fake, incentivized, or retaliatory reviews, and don't review your own business or a competitor. We may moderate or remove reviews that violate this. Star ratings shown from third-party sources (such as Google) are public, attributed, and provided “as is” — they are not our ratings and are kept separate from any reviews written on the Service.
Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- impersonate any person or business, or misrepresent your affiliation;
- scrape, harvest, or bulk-copy the Service, or overload it with automated requests;
- upload malware, attempt to breach security, or access data that isn't yours;
- use the Service to harass, defame, or harm others, or for any unlawful purpose.
Booking & scheduling (coming soon)
Some features — including native booking and scheduling — are described as “coming soon” and are not yet available. Forward-looking descriptions are not commitments; features may change or may not ship. When paid features launch, additional terms (including fees) will apply and will be presented before you opt in.
No responsibility for services between users
We are a directory and software platform — not a salon, not a stylist, and not a party to any appointment, transaction, or relationship between a provider and a client. We don't guarantee the accuracy of listings or public business facts, the availability or quality of any service, or the conduct of any user. Any dealings you have with a stylist or salon are solely between you and them.
Intellectual property
The Service's name, design, original content, and software are ours and are protected by law. These terms don't grant you any right to use our branding except as needed to use the Service normally. Factual business information (names, addresses, public ratings) is not owned by us.
Disclaimers
The Service is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, express or implied, to the fullest extent permitted by law. We don't warrant that it will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that information is complete or current.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss arising from your use of (or inability to use) the Service or from dealings with other users. Where liability can't be excluded, it is limited to the amount you paid us, if any, in the twelve months before the claim.
Termination
You can stop using the Service at any time (see data deletion). We may suspend or remove accounts, profiles, or content that violate these terms or that we reasonably believe are harmful, fraudulent, or unlawful.
Changes
We may update these terms. If we make material changes, we'll update the date above and note it on the Service. Continuing to use it after a change means you accept the updated terms.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Washington, USA, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. Disputes will be handled in the state or federal courts located in Spokane County, Washington.
