Doors open at 6:30am Monday through Thursday on West Francis, which tells you who Stars Salon and Spa is built for: the before-work crowd, and anyone who'd rather sit for color at eight on a Saturday night. Melissa and Jessica own the place, suites 2 and 3, where two teams of independent pros work under one roof — hair on one side, nails and spa on the other. Haircuts, color, extensions, braids, lashes, waxing and brows are all on the menu. Walk-ins are taken, and the Vagaro check-in app keeps the wait honest.
