Brickyard Barbershop is a traditional, full-service shop in a turn-of-the-century building on North Monroe, five minutes north of downtown — owner Chris Banka's place, run by a bench of seven barbers working as independent contractors. The hallmark is old-school: every standard haircut finishes with a straight-razor neck shave and a splash of aftershave, the way a barbershop used to do it. There's straight-razor shaving and beard work too. It's by appointment only — book online or call 509-324-CUTS — open Tuesday through Saturday on the corner of Monroe and Grace.
